We are a Texas auto body shop that focuses on high end custom, hot rod, and investment grade European sports cars and American cars. We pride ourselves on high quality show car refinishing and attention to detail. We have worked on everything from model A hot rods to vintage European motorcycles, one of a kind sports cars and so on. This includes sheetmetal replacement and custom alterations. We try to focus more on what the customer wants while holding our standard of quality and educating the customer to help build value and help the customer decide where to put their financial investment in the project. Foster Vintage is owned by a life long auto body specialist that is still active in the shop and we specialize in the auto body process unlike other shops in the area with owners that do not understand the process.  We are transparent which is why you will see possible cost mentioned here unlike others that waste your time to get you into the shop and try to sell you, give you a false quote to get you over a barrel,then you find out what it really costs when its to late.These days automotive restoration costs are higher than ever commonly costing $40k to $100k.  With the right discussions hundreds to thousands of dollars can be saved depending what a customer sees value in. A $70k job could look the same from the curb as a $50k job but the 70k may have more sheetmetal repair or simply more hours in areas that can't be seen without looking under the car. Some things must be done and some things could be an option and that option could have a few different approaches. With decades of experience in almost exclusively restoration and custom automobiles we have a different approach and mentality than a collision centered shop. We have patience, appreciation for the vehicle and pride of a craftsman that doesn't revolve around commission. We are a small shop that does not take in collision work which lets us focus on our long term projects that need our attention.
